PICK SIX EVENT

1. The Pick Six event shall be any designated six (6) races of the day appearing in the racing program as approved by the Philippine Racing Commission.

2. The bettor shall select the six (6) first place winners from each of the six (6) designated races of the Pick Six event. The Club, on its discretion, may have as many numbers of Pick Six events in one race day.

3. The bettor can choose from as many numbers of combinations as he wishes. The types of betting can be single, multi-value and rumble.

4. The minimum investment shall be P2.00. Other denominations in excess of the minimum investment of P2.00, in the exact multiple of P1.00, will be made available.

  1. Dividend Qualification: The bettor must have selected the six (6) first place winners of the six (6) designated legs / races of a Pick Six event.

    1. The Pick Six dividend shall be computed based on the unit of P1.00 by dividing the Pick Six total net dividend pool by the total cost of winning tickets on the Pick Six winning combination. The dividend on each unit bet shall be declared by eliminating the fraction of ten centavos. No dividend less than P1.00 per unit shall be declared. Official dividends shall be posted based on the minimum bet of P2.00.

    2. In case of a dead heat for first place in one leg of the Pick Six event, all entries involved in the dead heat for first place shall be considered as winners.

    3. In case of a dead heat for first place in any leg of the Pick Six event, the net dividend pool shall be divided equally among all the winning combinations with money bets.

    4. In the event that no bettor has selected the six (6) first place winners of the designated six (6) legs / races of a Pick Six event, the following rules shall apply:

5.d.1. Seventy-five percent (75%) of the total net dividend pool (75% of gross dividend pool less tax on winnings) shall be carried-over to the net dividend pool of the immediately succeeding Pick Six event.

5.d.2. The remaining twenty-five percent (25%) of the total net dividend pool (25% of gross dividend pool less tax on winnings) shall be distributed equally among the holder of tickets with five (5) consecutive winners or points, as consolation dividend. The five (5) consecutive first place winners or points referred to are the first place winners of the first five legs / races of a designated six (6) races of a Pick Six event.

5.d.3. If there are no holders of tickets with five (5) consecutive first place winners or points, the consolation dividend shall be paid to the holders of tickets with four (4) consecutive first place winners or points (from the first leg to the fourth leg of the designated six (6) races of a Pick Six event). If still there are no holder of tickets with four (4) consecutive first place winners or points, the consolation dividend shall be paid to holders of tickets with three (3) consecutive first place winners or points, and so on.

5.d.4. In the event that there is no holder of tickets with one (1) winner or point (i.e., the first place winner of the first leg / race of a Pick Six event has not been selected), the total net dividend pool (not only the 75%) shall be carried-over to the net dividend pool of the immediately succeeding Pick Six event.

5.d.5. The 75% or 100% carry-over amount, as the case may be, shall be added only to the net dividend pool of the immediately succeeding Pick Six event. In case no bettor has selected the six (6) first place winners of the designated six (6) races of the immediately succeeding Pick Six event, only the 25% of the net dividend pool (25% of gross dividend pool less tax on winnings) of that particular Pick Six event shall be available for consolation dividend. The 75% carry-over amount of the former Pick Six event, plus the 75% of the net dividend pool of that particular Pick Six event shall be carried-over to another immediately succeeding Pick Six event. The carry-over amount shall be distributed only after a bettor has selected the six (6) first place winners of the designated six races of a Pick Six event.

Note: The consolation dividend shall not participate in any carry-over amount, and such carry-over amount shall be paid only when there is a ticket sold with six (6) first place winners or points.

  1. Scratches: There shall be no refund of bets for a scratched selection in any of the legs / races of a designated Pick Six event for a Pick Six ticket. In the event that a horse(s) is scratched, excused, or determined by the Stewards to be a non-starter in the leg / race, the following rules on substitutes / alternate shall apply:

    1. The first favorite (i.e., the entry selling the most amount of bets) in the first leg of the Daily Double event of that race in which the scratch (or scratches) occurred shall be substituted for the non-starting selection for all purposes. The first favorite is determined once the Judges officially declares the results of the first leg of the Daily Double event. However, if the race in which the scratch (or scratches) occurred is not the first leg of a Daily Double event, the substitute / alternate shall be as follows:

6.a.1. The first favorite in the first leg of the Extra Double event of that race shall be the substitute. However, if the race is not the first leg of an Extra Double event, then;

6.a.2. The first favorite in the Forecast event of that race shall be the substitute. However, if the race is not a Forecast event, then;

6.a.3. The first favorite paired with the winner of the first leg of the Daily Double event shall be the substitute. However, if the race is not the second leg of a Daily Double event, then;

6.a.4. The first favorite paired with the winner of the first leg of the Extra Double event shall be the substitute. However, if the race is none of the above, then;

6.a.5. The Racing Manager or his assistant in consultation with the Club or PHILRACOM Handicappers may decide the entry. (In this situation, an announcement as to the substitute horse will have to be made before the start of the race.)

7. In case of an emergency that leads to or result in the cancellation of one or more legs / races that is part of a designated Pick Six event, the winning combination shall be determined from the winners in the legs / races so ran plus the win credit(s) on the cancelled races. All bets placed in any cancelled race(s) shall earn one (1) "win credit" in each cancelled leg / race designated for the Pick Six event. However, if all races designated for the Pick Six event have been cancelled, all bets placed in that particular Pick Six event shall be refunded.
